Osmania University Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test-APSET 2012 www.apset.org, Osmania University APSET-2012 Hall Tickets and OU APSET 2012 HallTicket download. APSET 2012 Means Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (AP.SET) Conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad-500 007, Andhra Pradesh. OU APSET-2012 Hall Tickets for written test in July month. APSET Examination Date is 27.07. 2012 (Friday) from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm. Visually Challenged Candidates shall be provided thirty minutes extra time separately for paper-l and paper-ll.For paper-lll, forty five minutes extra time shall be provided. They will also be provided with a scribe who should be a graduate in a subject other than candidate’s subject.

 The State Eligibility Test (SET) is based on the pattern of the National Eligibility Test (CSIR/UGC-NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR.  The State Governments and Union Territories, who wish to conduct the SET are supposed to obtain accreditation from UGC from time to time. Now, the Andhra Pradesh Government has decided to conduct SET Examination in the interest of large number of aspirants for recruitment as Assistant Professors/Lecturers through direct recruitment or by promotions in universities and degree colleges in the State and also to facilitate the candidates to appear for the test in Telugu medium, wherever applicable.  After careful consideration of the matter, the UGC, New Delhi has identified the Osmania University as the State Agency for Andhra Pradesh to conduct the State Eligibility Test (SET) in Andhra Pradesh for 24 subjects for the year 2012.
APSET 2012 Examination centers:
Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test: Hyderabad, Warangal, Nizamabad, Nalgonda, Visakhapatnam, Guntur, Rajahmundry, Nellore, Tirupati, Anantapur, Kadapa, Kurnool.
Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test Examination Scheme:
Paper-1: Number of Questions 60 out of which 50 questions are to be attempted, Marks 50x2=100, Duration 1¼ Hours (09.30 am to 10.45 am.
Paper- II: 50 questions all of which are compulsory,50x2=100, 1¼ Hours (10.45 am to 12.00 noon)
Paper-3: 75 questions all of which are compulsory, 75x2=150, 2½ Hours (01.30 pm to 04.00 pm)
 APSET 2012 Examination Syllabus:

Paper-I: General paper on Teaching and Aptitude, Paper-II: Subject Paper, Paper-III: Subject Paper (in depth questions).
There will be No negative Marking in Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test.
The candidates will be allowed to carry a carbon printout of the OMR Response Sheets with them on conclusion of examinations.
