SANKALP Opportunity to Register for Voluntary Work, The Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare has started on pilot basis an initiative called SANKALP for channelizing the experience and skill of civil pensioners into meaningful social activities through organizations registered with the department. The pensioners willing to be associated with these organizations may register at the official portal website http://www.pensionersportal.gov.in/sankalp/.

The Department of Pension & Pensioners' Welfare has provides information to retirement benefits of central Government employees and promotion of welfare of pensioners, Pension & Pensioners' Welfare Department goal is ensure all the retirement dues and the pension payments order are handed over to the employees on the day of retirement.
In this Sankalp Pensioners' Portal launched to prepare the individuals for life after retirement and to channelize energy, the Sankalp website has provides the platform for the pensioners to access opportunities for useful interventions in society.
Pensioners are requested to ensure that they fill up all options (like: where they would like to work etc.) after careful consideration as any change subsequently would cause all round inconvenience. How to apply for SANKALP pensioners Organizations?
SANKALP lists a number of Pensioners/Organizations in India based on self declaration. This does not imply that pensioners/organizations are endorsed or recommended in any way by D/o Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare, Government of India or by the concerned Ministries/Departments/ Government Bodies. D/o Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare does not guarantee that the information contained on the website is complete and correct and shall not be liable whatsoever for any damages incurred as a result of its use.
