APTSSET exam conducted in objective mode only and consist of three papers, APSET Exam consist of multiple choice questions only. Paper wise duration time and marks are as follows

Paper-1: Total Number of Questions is 60 out of which 50 questions are to be attempted for this 50 questions each question carries 2 marks so total 100 Marks and duration is 1.15 Hours that is simple 75 minutes.
Paper-2: Total Number of Questions is 50 questions all of which are compulsory attempt each question carries 2 marks only total 100 Marks and duration is 1.15 Hours.
Paper-3: Total Number of Questions is 75 questions all of which are compulsory, and time duration is 2.30 Hours and each question carries 2 marks and total marks is 150.
So all the 3 papers consists of total 350 Marks there will be No negative Marking in APSET exam.

AP TS SET Qualifying marks category wise:

Minimum marks to be obtained in APSET for considering a candidate for the eligibility for lectureship, the candidates are required to obtain following minimum marks separately in Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III to qualify APSET Exam.
APSET Paper-1 exam qualifying marks category wise as 
General Candidates: 
Paper-1: 40 Marks (40%)  
Paper-2: 40 Marks (40%) 
Paper-3: 75 Marks (50%)

BC Candidates: 
Paper-1: 35 marks (35%)
Paper-2: 35 Marks (35%)
Paper-3: 67.5 Marks around of 68 Marks (45%) 

SC/ST/PH/VH candidates:
Paper-1: 35 marks (35%)
Paper-2: 35 Marks (35%)
Paper-3: 60 Marks (40%)

Amongst those candidates who have cleared APTSSET Exam with qualifying marks, a merit list will be prepared subject-wise and category-wise using the aggregate marks of all the three papers secured by such candidates, Top 15% candidates (for each subject and category), from the merit list mentioned under Merit list, will be declared APSET qualified for eligibility for lectureship.
