You can follow the following steps to get your passport within 10 days through online
Step-1:
Register at Passport Seva portal official website at www.passportindia.gov.in.
If you are a new user then click on Register Now Link in the main website and fill the mandatory information. Then click on Register button at the bottom of the page. Then you will receive your login ID on your registered email ID. Thereafter, you will be going to the home page.

Step-2:
Go to Login link seen in the official website
After step-1 you will receive an email from passport office then click on that link and verify your account. After that you will be login to your account by your login id. After that click on Apply for fresh passport link or Re-issue of passport. There after you will get two options then click on the second option to fill the application form through online.

 Step 3:
 Choose your option
Those who are apply for the passport for the first time then click on the link Apply for Fresh passport appears on the screen. After that you will fill some mandatory information in the application form.

Step 4:
Fill the Family details
After completing the above process the save it, now you can access to your account anytime anywhere by using your login id and password. In the next page you need to enter you r family details.  After entering the family details move to the next page where you can provide your address and contact details and save it.

Step 5:
Pay and schedule appointment
After that at the link View Saved/ Submitted Applications page yow will be Click on pay and schedule appointment link and fix your appointment time. After submit the form you will be required to pay your payment through online payment by using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking Options.

Step 6:
Print the Application Receipt
 After completing the above process, click on the Application Receipt link to get the printout, which will contain application reference number and appointment number, It will be used in your further future.

Step 7:
Carry original documents to Passport Seva Kendra
Candidates need to carry the original documents to Located Passport Seva Kendra. Next within 7/10 days you will receive your passport to your contact address provide in the application form. You will also take its copy from online also.
