Educational Qualifications to Vizag Steel Plant Junior Trainee Recruitment 2017:
SSC with full time ITI / Diploma in Engineering in the following Trades/ Disciplines (60% marks in regular ITI / Diploma in Engineering for Gen/OBC candidates, 50% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates)
Mandatory Qualification:
Matric / SSC + ITI/ Diploma in Engineering
Eligible ITI Trades (2 years and above duration) with NCVT Certificate:
• Instrument Mechanic
• Electronics
• Electronics (Mechanical)
Eligible Diploma in Engineering Courses (conducted by State Board of Technical Education & Training):
Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering
Diploma in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
Diploma in Electronics Engineering
Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering
Additional permissible qualification, if any:
Intermediate, B.Sc, B.Com, BA
Higher qualifications not permissible:
Professional degrees e.g., BE/B.Tech, BL, BHMS etc., MBA / Post Graduation or above
Preference will be given to Displaced Persons (DPs) of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP).
