CBSE UGC NET 2018 Exam date:
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the National Eligibility Test (NET) exam 2018 on behalf of University Grants Commission (UGC), CBSE UGC NET 2018 Exam on June 2018 and Nov 2018.
UGC- NET 2018 for Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship &Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both, On behalf of UGC, the Central Board of Secondary Education announces holding of the National Eligibility Test(NET) determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian universities and colleges.
CBSE will conduct NET in 84 subjects (listed under item no.14 on page 11) at 91 selected Cities of Examination (listed under item no.15 on page 13) spread across the country.
CBSE UGC NET 2018 Exam pattern:
Paper-I shall be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate. The paper shall consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions and each question will carry 2 marks.
Paper-II shall consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions based on the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks.
Paper-III will consist of 75 objective type compulsory questions from the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks.
All the questions of Paper – II and Paper – III will be compulsory, covering entire syllabus (including all electives, without options).
The candidate will have to mark the responses for questions of Paper – I, Paper - II and Paper – III on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet provided along with the test booklet.
